Wow, today I almost tried all my sails! Nice since there was no wind friday (yesterday). We came early and the wind wasn´t too strong. But we wanted go get on the water so we took 6.3 again. The wind increased after a while and Per derigged to 5.8 and I took 5.0. The waves from south grew bigger like the wind and I ended up with my 4.1 sail (even 3.5 could have been used). Unfortunately jumpwaves from "wrong" direction so I flew without control. By the sandbanks the little waves get pretty steep eventhough they´re small so you could see many jumps from better sailors. The wind & waves lured all the freestylesailors out onto the water and you could watch loops, volcanos, willy skippers and lots of other fun. Myself I did duckjibes and backwind, that´s what I could do.. A cool guy made a forward loop right in front of my face when I was heading in (at a waterdepth of about 50 cm) and it was a close call, I steered away and was impressed, but it was kind of risky I think. Otherwise lots of people, lots of girls too, since RAN had their camp there - great fun!
